Galeria Casa Cuadrada Presents Tiffany Trenda’s Soft Interfaces at Art Miami 2025
Miami, FL – December 2–7, 2025 – Galeria Casa Cuadrada will present Tiffany Trenda’s Soft Interfaces (2024) at Art Miami 2025. Trenda’s work interrogates the limits of machine perception, materiality, and embodied experience in an era increasingly mediated by artificial intelligence.
In Soft Interfaces, Trenda examines the body’s relationship to technology through a series of self-portraits obscured by tactile, soft materials. These layered compositions challenge AI’s ability to process the organic folds, textures, and irregularities of the human form, revealing the gaps in machine perception. The interplay of hard and soft elements emphasizes the irreplaceable nature of touch, a fundamental human experience that AI cannot replicate.
Soft Interfaces provokes a dialogue on the evolving tension between the digital and the physical, positioning the human body as a site of both resistance and transformation in the face of technological mediation.
